In this session, we will explore social media through a positive lens and discuss the opportunities that it offers students for leadership, advocacy and making the world a better place. We will also discuss how educators can embrace their role as digital role models and scaffold social media usage from an early age. With modelling and guidance, we can address common issues associated with social media such as depression and cyber-bullying.
